Kylin Express at Good Earth City Centre in Gurgaon is a new addition in their series with already existing outlets at Vasant kunj, Saket etc. It is a nice casual dining restaurant with decent interior and decor done all in Red, its aura gives you the exact feel of the cuisine they serve. Japanese, Chinese, Asian and Thai cuisines are basically they had to offer to their guests. The menu is indeed quite vast, so enough options to choose from.
Few days back we got to visit the restaurant and tried their few of the offerings. They have got an array of really good selection of Dumplings and Sushis in the house. Since i love soups a lot, we started first with that only and ordered for Tom yum chicken clear soup. Simply love it, very nicely prepared with well balanced flavours of galangal, lemon grass and kaffir leaves. After that came Shanghai Chicken dumplings and variety of Sushi rolls like Crunchy Yasai rolls, Prawn tempura rolls and Spicy Salmon roll. Though the Shanghai Chicken dumplings were fine, we loved Sushi rolls more. Crunchy Yasai rolls had picled radish, green apple, cucumber, chilli mayo with tempura flakes topping. Prawn tempura rolls tasted amazing having a hint of chilli and Spicy Salmon was best of all with salmon inside with spicy sauce topped with tempura flakes.
Thai Herb Fish was scrumptious again, they had used Sole fish for the dish and it went really well with thai spices and aromats. Spicy wok tossed chicken with two pepper sauce and Teppannyaki shredded chicken with black bean sauce and spring onion proved to be decent main course.
In desserts, we were served Fried ice cream spring rolls and Chocolate Mahjong which were like a perfect ending to our meal. Though the one we wanted to try was unavailable, “Chocolate Lasagne”. It sounded really good but sadly we couldn’t taste it but never mind something should be left for the next time as well. Yes, we are coming back here soon again for sure. Loved the hospitality and service very much. Keep up the good work team Kylin.
