Kama, Radisson Blu, Kaushambi has shown a huge sign of improvement over the past 12 months. They have been conducting food festival very often to give their patrons reasons to visit Kama, Radisson Blu often. Kudos to the team.
This time we were here to experience Lucknowi food festival, my favorite. The chef picked up dishes we get all over Lucknow, specially Chowk and Akbari Gate. Our first was Bharvan Gol Gappe, served as Amouse Bouche.
Banno Ke kebab, Gosht ki Gilavat, Badshahi Paneer Tikka and Kathal ke Kebabs were our starters. Banno Ke kebab were well marinated. They were quite flavorful, but I would have liked them with a little more egg wash though. The other starters were bang on. I just loved the Gosht ki Gilavat.
Imambare ka Murg shorba and Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba were the soups for the evening. Tamatar Dhaniya ka Shorba was a total delight. Surely a must have.
In the mains Murg Aftab, Gosht Taar Korma and Daal e Kama were the Stars. Murg Aftab had curd marinated extremely succulent Chicken pieces. Taar Korma was good though it lacked the sticky texture to some extent. Daal e Kama was as usual super tasty.
Khajoor Sheer Branj acted as a perfect sweet ending to the meal. The presentation was great and so was the taste.
The festival will end by 5th of February. So don’t miss this culinary trip to Lucknow.
