Exploring the New Menu at China Kitchen

The China Kitchen gets a   new Menu that  has been re-worked by Chef Jack Aw Yong. He is the Executive Chef at Park Hyatt, Bejing.Also known as the God father of the Chinese cuisine. The menu has been designed keeping Indian pahyatt 1late in mind  yet maintaining the authenticity of the cuisine. The menu still consists of the renowned signature dishes from the previous one along with the new additions.

The new additions are authentic and yet flavourful as they have been picked from the Sichuan province in Southern West China. It has bold flavours, particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic ,chilli peppers  and Sichuan peppers.

Poached Chicken  salad was flavourful .  Poached Chicken was prepared in spicy sesame sauce along with peanuts, crispy garlic and coriander sprinkled over it. Dimsums Crystal have celery, mushroom, truffle oil. Red chilli, coriander shrimp Mousse and ginger soy are really outstanding.

Hunan style sliced pork and Twice cooked crispy lamb shank are not to be missed at all.  Both of them have their unique flavour which is worth relishing. Twice cooked lamb shank tastes great when had with the sauce which is served along with it. It brings the dish to another level as it has blend of sweet, salty and spicy flavour in the sauce.

Next in the list is Traditional “Mapo” tofu, having chilli, chive, garlic and Sichuan peppercorn which goes well along with Northern style fried rice. Stir fried Asparagus with Porcini Mushroom, crispy shallot is another must try dish even for the non vegetarians as well. Though it is a very simple dish but very few are able to prepare it perfectly and The China Kitchen has definitely nailed it.

Well for the sea food lovers Crispy spicy prawn in Sichuan black bean sauce is surely a delight.Chef Jack Aw Yong has added a lot of greens and sea food in the new menu. In order to maintain the real essence of the cuisine the Hyatt Regency is getting all the ingredients and spices import straight from Bejing. This is where they reflect a true dedication towards their patrons in terms of rendering an unforgettable and pleasant experience.

Chocolate Cigars and Chinese Egg Tarts served with vanilla sauce are amongst them. There are three variants of Cigars. They serve the Cigars with Orange Liqueur, Cognac (Remi Martin) and Single Malt (Laphroaig). So you can choose your favorite. Apart from these there is an array of divine sweet spoilers which comes in a tray. It comprised of Coconut Spring Rolls, Assorted Ice Creams (Mango, Jasmine milk tea and Chocolate Flavours), Mango and Coconut Creme Brulee, Assorted chocolate balls (milk, white and dark variants) and   Exotic cut fruits.
