Top 10 Cheap eating joints CP
Connaught Place has been known for some High End clubs and Fine Dines. But that’s not all, we have some true value for money places here as well. The food in these places is also good and they serve decent quantity as well. We have selected a few must visits for you which will not hit your pocket also. An average bill of these places doesn’t cross Rs.350/- per head.

1. Bhappe Da Hotel.
The first place that comes to my mind is Bhappe da Hotel. They have a superb Saag Chicken and Daal Makhani. Their Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken are also quite decent. My friends who love Brain Curry are quite regular here.

2. Kake da Hotel.
The next is Kake Da Hotel. The dishes you must try here are Chicken Curry and Chicken Tandoori. The Daal Makhani and Shahi Paneer is also quite tasty. The issue with them is space. If you can manage that, you will like everything about it. But yes for the price they offer, we can’t be more demanding.

3. Khan Chacha.
I don’t think they need any introduction. My pick here are Mutton Tikka Roll and Mutton Seekh Roll. For Vegetarians Veg Hariyali Roll is a must have. Avoid the Paneer Roll here.
4. Indian Coffee House.
They do the best Mutton Dosa in my opinion. They have terrace seating as well, which one can enjoy in the pleasant weather. It is an ideal place for a quick bite.

5. Embassy Snack Shop.
They are quite popular for their Samosas. I have not seen a bigger Samosa than this. Not only the Samosa, their most of the products are heavily portioned and make Embassy Snack Shop a true VFM joint.

6. Jain Chawal Wale.
Jain Chawal Wale have been here since long long time. Their timing is something to make a note of. They open at 4:00 am and are open till lunch only. The people working in the restaurants around CP are the regulars here as well. I like their Rajmaa Chawal, Kadhi Chawal and Samosas.

7. Bhogal Chole Bhature.
Bhogal Chole Bhature is right opposite the Scindia House. They do one the best Chole Bhature and the que will justify my statement. So don’t forget to visit them if you are around Connaught place. They are open only till 3:00 pm. So take care of the timings.

8. Sarvana Bhawan.
They are one the few Indian food chains who are established in international market as well. I personally like their Ghee Dosa and the Tiffin Menu. Not to miss is their mango ice cream. It is simply the best and can’t be missed at all.

9. Shiv Sagar.
Shiv Sagar is a Mumbai based chain and are quite known for their South Indian food whereas the dishes I like the most here are Triple Munchurian Fried Rice and Chilly Idli. They also serve some really refreshing fresh juices. My last experience was not that great here though.

If we talk about Connaught Place and don’t talk about Wenger’s, then we are not doing justice at all. Wenger’s is a legendary bakery serving some lip smacking desserts since decades. They also do superb snacks and their Shammi Kebab and Mushroom Pattice are not be missed.
