vegetarian sandwich – Cottage cheese ( dahi ) as a main ingredient

Dahi Sandwich

Ingredients :
2 cups thick curd (creamy thick) don’t put sour curd
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 cup dessicated coconut
1- 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
Few curry leaves finely chopped
Salt to taste
1/ 2 tsp roasted jeera powder
Chopped coriander,
1 tsp ghee
Mustard seeds
Bread (Brown/ White)

Method : whisk the curd well and add onions, dessicated coconut, salt, jeera powder, chillies, and chopped coriander leaves and mix it all.
Heat oil add mustard seeds let them crackle, add curry leaves. Let it cool a little and Then it over the curd mix.

Now heat the griddle (tava) and put ghee. Take abread slice,then spread the mix evenly, cover it with another bread slice and trim the sides. Now apply ghee over it and now flip the sandwich and toast it on tawa from both sides.
Cut it into half and there it is ready to be eaten smile emoticon
Have it with dhaniya- pudina green chutney.
