On 29th November 2015 New Delhi, the City witnessed the opening of an ultimate party destination SKY LOUNGE AND BAR ‘Season 2’. Located on the top(19th floor) of the Hotel ‘The Royal Plaza’ on Ashoka road is so far the Capital’s highest lounge with the largest open bar. The launch night was attended by the City’s most hipped party crowd making it an ultra glamourous event. Though the temperature was dropping down but the spirit of the crowd was full high so was the success of the launch.
SKY LOUNGE AND BAR is actually spread across an expanse of 18000 Sq.ft. which is divided between two interconnected spaces The Moon Bar and The Presidential Lounge. Providing a panoramic 360 degree view of the scenic city with key highlights including Jantar Mantar, Lotus temple, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Qutab Minar amongst another significant landmarks in the city.
‘SKY’ represents a perfect place to celebrate and enjoy life to the fullest. The second season of its launch promises to give yet another incomparable season of new and amazing cocktails, delectable and scrumptious food, striking ambiance and spectacular view. The evening of the launch even witnessed the same, there was an array of sumptuous and vast spread of snacks and starters along with multi cuisine dishes in the mains as well. To gulp it down the bar was decked up with all sorts of poison.So now with the unveiling of this spell bounding place the confusion of deciding the destination to party and celebrate has come to an end as the vast open air space it offers can be used flexibly for hosting a variety of small and large scale events, larger than life projection screens, enchanting water features amongst others. Along with the unmatched food and beverage offerings with cuisine that celebrates the numerous millenia and dynasties of the city, an extensive bar menu featuring an eclectic selection of whiskies, wines, champagnes etc are good enough reasons to make this place in one’s list.
