The app helps you take a 45 second video and then uses facial recognition technologies to generate a 3D view of the customer wearing the CaratLane earrings. The user can swipe to look at her face from side to side to get an idea of how well the ear-pieces fit her.
CaratLane also gives you the liberty to tequest home trial of a product in case you are skeptical of the choice of earrings.
Mithun Sacheti, Co-Founder and CEO of CaratLane adds that the expect a 30 to 40 percent increase in the business within the next six months, because of the new feature. Launched first time in India, the app will surely invite more users to try out the immersive try-on experience.
