Ancient Tikka's at The Ancient Barbeque, Noida

The Ancient Barbeque

Located in Sector 63, Noida, they have a classy sign on the entrance with “TAB” written in bolds. On entering, you can see a spacious big hall which can comfortably seat around 70 people, maybe more. You have options to take from 4 to a large group of about 10-12.

How to Reach

It’s located on the road dead opposite heading to Noida from Shipra Mall. If you can see Haldirams on your left, TAB is located just behind that. On the left take the first turn inside to the inner lane.

Food Review

Starters
There is a variety of food there, which apparently changes with time. I had the Cinnamon Grilled Pineapple, Paneer Tikka Jalandhari, Chilly Paneer and Salsa Potato.I loved the Chilly Paneer and the Salsa Potato. Chilly Paneer, well actually nothing exceptional but it was very well prepared and was cooked perfectly. Potato Salsa on the other hand was a new dish which I had. It was sweet and flavorful and a very nice combination. You must have this if you’re here!

Mains
We had Dal Makhani, Mutter Mushroom, Tawa Sabzi, Kale Moti ka Pulao, Spicy Green Veg Noodles, Vegetables in Basil Sauce, Pindi Chhole and Paneer Mirch Masala.Dal Makhani was okay, Tawa Sabzi was good but personally a little lacking in salt. Veg noodles were nice but it’s compliment Veggies in Basil Sauce was too strong. So mind this you might want to take little proportions. Pindi Chhole were good too! Rest of the food was usual

Soups n Salads
There was a variety of salads there. From Kimchi to Papdi Chana, Korean and Russian salads, Papads, Raita and Soup.A nice selection of salads. A perfect start and side for your meal.

Drinks
There are a couple of interesting drinks here. You must try the Masala cola and Zesty Grilled Pineapple.

Desserts
The Chocolate Brownies won my heart. Such soft brownies and the icing of chocolate was just too perfect! There was Vanilla and Strawberry Ice creams with hot chocolate and strawberry syrup.

Overall it was a nice experience and for the price, you can definitely go there and have a lovely meal!
