Top 5 places you must visit in Dubai

Top 5 places you must visit in Dubai

Dessert Safari – UAE has the world’s largest sand dessert and the san dunes can get as high as 800ft. Don’t worry about that, the tourist routes are fixed and are pretty comfortable. The pleasure of moving and feeling the dessert in the comfort of a 4×4 is a must. A buffet dinner and a belly dance performance follow the dessert safari. The best place in the car to enjoy the dessert safari is the front seat and the middle seat in the second row. Time required from pickup to drop is 5 to 6 hours.

Burj Khalifa – The observation deck on Burj Khalifa is not at the top but it’s really, really high. You have a 360 degree aerial view Dubai city. Best time to visit Burj Khalifa is during the night and the view is fantastic. The line to the elevator which leads to the observation desk tends to get very long so I advise you to buy a fast track ticket.

Dubai Fountains / Mall of Dubai – The mall of Dubai is the biggest mall in the world in terms of Total area and with only one forth of the total as leasable. Personally I found the mall to be exhausting to cover and l prefer the Mall of emirates over Dubai mall. In the evening around 7ish, fountain show starts in between the main down town property, which is visible from Dubai mall. Every half and hour there is a show and they play some Bollywood numbers as well to jazz up the experience. Best place to enjoy Dubai fountains is from Amal an Indian Restaurant in Armani hotel. There Al fresco is the best place to enjoy this wonderful view.

Ferrari world – Theme park, which is completely indoors except for only 2 rides. You don’t need to worry about the heat when visiting this park. We took a premium pass so we didn’t have to wait in line to get in for a ride. Few rides are time reserved, which does not come under premium benefits. Don’t miss the world fastest roller coaster Rosa Ferrari.

5-      Ski Duabi – It is an indoor snow park with the temperatures maintained below 0. It a nice place for the kids to enjoy with a few interesting activities for adults as well.
